Structural Renewal and Facade Restoration

The home had suffered from subsidence due to failed foundations, necessitating major structural works. The team executed internal temporary structural works to stabilize the existing facade before completely removing the front facade. A fully galvanized structural steel frame with encased ground beams was installed, ensuring the longevity and stability of the structure. The project also included the installation of a new roof structure and weathering system, further solidifying the home's integrity.

External and Internal Enhancements

Handmade external timber panelling was applied, capturing the essence of the property’s historical significance while new sash windows were installed throughout the house, maintaining the period charm. The electrical and plumbing systems received a complete overhaul, ensuring that every aspect of the building met modern safety and efficiency standards.

Basement Conversion and Finishing Touches

The basement underwent tanking and finishing works, transforming it into a functional living space with an additional two bedrooms and one bathroom. The entire property was fully insulated, plastered, and decorated with Farrow & Ball paints, creating a seamless blend of historic charm and modern elegance. The home now features five bedrooms and four bathrooms, each crafted with precision and attention to detail.
